Music Education Network is a consortium of highly qualified, independent music teachers who offer individual instruction in the privacy and convenience of your own home. 

A locally run company started in l995, we’ve brought the joy of music to thousands of students on the Central Coast of California.

We travel throughout all of San Luis Obispo County, and teach a variety of instruments, including piano, voice, four types of guitar, brass and strings. We’re also happy to accommodate your schedule, offer gift certificates, and welcome all ages and skill levels.

All billing is done through the mail, so teachers never ask for payment. This keeps lessons focused on where they should be – music!

Music Education Network was founded by Larry Grant, whose prior teaching experience was in Southern California and Ohio. A music educator for more than three decades, Grant also heads the Music Program at Mission College Preparatory High School in San Luis Obispo. 

In addition, he serves on the Music Education Committee of the San Luis Obispo Symphony. Grant has double BA degrees, one in Vocal Performance and another in Music Education.  He also has a Masters in Music degree, all from The Ohio State University.
